7 Filipino-Made Gifts Under ₱1,000 That Feel More Special Than a Generic Gift

Can we build a thoughtful Christmas gift box from Filipino-made products for ₱1,000 or less?

That’s the little challenge we’re taking on this year at Baybayen.

Rather than putting all of our budget into one big gift, we wanted to see what happens when we gather several small things from local makers—something to eat, something to enjoy, something useful, something handmade, and something personal.

Here’s our first Baybayen ₱1,000 Local Gift Box.

What's Inside The Gift Box

Note: Prices, product details, and availability may change after the time of publication. All product images were downloaded from the official brand websites and are reuploaded solely for the marketing and editorial purposes of this page. We’ve also included each brand’s website so you can check their latest updates yourself. Baybayen.ph takes no ownership or credit for these images.

📍 Malagos, Davao City

Let’s start with something for the chocolate and cacao lover.

Algo Produce’s 100% Pure Cacao is a simple little addition to the box and a nice way to include something edible without taking up too much of the budget.

At ₱95, it’s also one of the most affordable finds on our list.

A gift doesn’t always have to be practical. Sometimes, it’s about giving someone a reason to slow down.

The Self-Discovery Set by Happy Flame PH includes candle samplers that can turn an ordinary evening into a little moment of rest and discovery.

It’s the kind of addition that makes a gift box feel a little more special.

For something personal, we found this Holly December Birth Flower Postcard by Alfajone.

If you’re giving this box to someone born in December, the birth flower makes the postcard feel especially thoughtful.

And because it’s a postcard, there’s still room to write a little Christmas message by hand.

📍Las Piñas

Every good gift box needs something useful.

The 80ml Multi-use Sanitizing Fresh Spray by Reset Fresh Sprays is a practical everyday item that fits neatly into the collection.

We like having something functional among the more sentimental and decorative pieces—it makes the box feel like something the recipient can actually use.

📍Imus, Cavite

For the reader or stationery lover, there’s a handmade Wire Craft Bookmark from Luminous Wire.

With different designs available, the price ranges from ₱85 to ₱189.

It’s a small object, but that’s exactly what we love about handmade pieces: even something as simple as a bookmark can become a little reminder of the person who made it.

📍Camiguin island, Mindanao

Something delicious had to make it into the box.

Ayo! Kusina’s Passion Fruit Jam adds a bright and fruity element to the collection. It’s something the recipient can enjoy at home with breakfast, snacks, bread, or however they like their jam.

And finally, a tiny personalized detail.

AHRT Studio’s Personalized Doodle Pins start at just ₱50, making them an easy little extra to tuck into a gift box.

Personalization also makes this one especially fun—you can choose something that reminds you of the person receiving the gift.

So, How Much Does the Box Cost?

Let’s add everything up.

So there’s one little catch: the box stays under ₱1,000 if you choose the lower-priced bookmark and pin options.

At the lowest available prices, that’s just ₱880 for seven products from seven local makers.

And that’s exactly what we love about this idea.

₱880. Seven local makers. One thoughtful gift.

You don’t necessarily need to spend a lot to give something meaningful.

You can choose a few little things, put them together thoughtfully, and at the same time discover and support Filipino makers.

Why We Love the ₱1,000 Local Gift Box

For us, this isn’t just about finding cheap products.

It’s about asking:

What can we give when we choose to look locally first?

– A bookmark from a maker.
– A jar of jam.
– A little candle set.
– A postcard.
– A personalized pin.
– A cacao treat.
– A useful everyday spray.

Seven small things, each carrying a little piece of someone’s work.
That’s what makes this gift box special to us.

It’s not just one gift. It’s seven opportunities to support local.
